Etymology: From the mid-13c., "luck" + “fully,” “Lukken” (mid-15c.) was a verb in Middle English meaning "happen, chance;" also to “happen fortunately."
This artwork brings us a 19c. floral cyanotype taking on the mythical aspects of the Ancient Chinese Golden Carp: a dragon-fish symbol for hard work, perseverance and ultimate good fortune.
