Eagerly ~ giclée art print
Eagerly (adv): in a keenly expectant or interested manner : used to emphasize a strong desire to do or have something. What are you eagerly waiting for?
I was walking on a beach in Cape May with my dear friend Kathy when we came upon this driftwood eagerly creeping up the sandbank toward civilization. It's accompanied by a brilliant Victorian orchid (thank you, NYPL archive) and a woody, seedy, organic object I came upon dangling from a branch in the Bryn Mawr bird sanctuary. As winter sets in, the world hibernates in so many magical ways.
The "Adverbly" photomontage series celebrates the almighty (often under appreciated) adverb layered with my own photographs and images I've found in the public domain. Have a bit of fun contemplating my mashups of words and images. Then celebrate where your own interpretation takes you. There are no mistakes in art, as I see it.
This archival work is produced using the giclée archival printing process. Unlike 3-ink printing, the 10-ink giclée process produces rich, saturated hues rendered in high resolution on heavy weight, neutral white paper. The acid-free, archival matte paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
