From Middle English: "fressh," from Old English "fersc" (fresh, pure, sweet), Proto-West Germanic "frisk" (fresh), Proto-Germanic "friskaz (fresh), and Proto-Indo-European "preysk" (fresh).

This "Adverbly" photomontage has found its way onto a greeting card. The series celebrates the almighty and much under-appreciated Adverb, the modifier of verbs and adjectives.. Now this one modifies a mashup of imagery - my own photos and other interesting finds from the public domain - such as these cheeky watercolor wildflowers and holy writings recorded in an illuminated manuscript.
