This "Adverbly" photomontage has found its way onto a greeting card. The series celebrates the almighty and much maligned Adverb, which is often tossed into an editor's waste bin. Now this one modifies a mashup of imagery - my own photos and other interesting finds from the public domain.
Here, a wise old owl carved into the moulding of an old Cleveland hotel on Millionaires Row "proudly" stands guard among images of watercolor flora gleaned from the public domain archives of the New York Public Library and the upturned stump of fallen 100-year old white oak in my neighbor's yard.
Each Adverbly montage invites you to complete the work. Where does it lead you? What questions does it raise for you, or what does it inspire?
Share it and make someone's day - and, heck, let's make getting the mail fun again.
